Little Black Dress

Hello Ladies! Let's talk about something that is a fashion staple. Something that every woman should have in their wardrobe. I am talking about the little black dress.

Beach Vibe

I have been dreaming of the beach. I can't wait until Memorial Day weekend when we are going on our annual St. Pete Beach, Florida adventure.

I can already smell the salty air and feel the warm salty water on my skin.

The other thing that really makes me love the beach is that lips are bright pink, I love the pink melon colored lipglosses at the beach. I also love the different blue hues. Horizontal stripes are usually a no go for me because I am hippy (horizontal stripes make you look a bit wider); but at the beach stripes are all the rage. You can get away with stripes because they are so fun and nautical.

So due to my beachy mood here is a nautical style post.

Sorry it's been so long since my last post but life has been pretty hectic lately. There have been out of town weddings I have had to attend and job interviews to go on.

I decided to do a post about neon fashion because sometimes a girl just needs to stand out.

Boho Chic

This is one of my all time favorite trends. Boho Chic!

The hippie era was seriously a time where I should have been born, alas I was born instead in the late 80's. I had to grow up with one of my least favorite trends, 90's grunge. Though I was lucky enough to have had a mother that was a teenage hippie once upon a time. So I got a lot of great beauty tips from her. Seriously girls in that era spent way more time on their look than we do haha. She actually told me a story of her and her best friend at 14 years old spending hours separating each individual eyelash to mascara. I like to think I am a patient person, that is however something that I have no abundance of patience for.

 I am ecstatic that the boho (hippie) look has made such a comeback. It's actually one of the reasons I love looking at celebrity fashion from Coachella. Nina Dobrev and Vanessa Hudgens never disappoint me with their retro looks.
