Retro Chic!

I am back baby!
Life has gotten hectic lately and I have been unable to post anything for close to a month now, that it all over and I am now back!
 The past weekend for Memorial Day I went to the beach for the weekend and loved the new swimsuit trends. Retro is back!
There were so many Marilyn Monroe esque swimsuits to be seen. High waisted, ruching and flattering for skinny and plus sized women. It wasn't only the swimsuits either. Retro is very in right now in regular apparel, accessories and shoes too.
 The great thing about these 50's/60's/70's style apparel is that they are the most flattering clothes for any size and shape. I have yet to see a woman wearing these retro inspired apparels and look bad.
The pin up look is back ladies and gentlemen and I for one am loving it!

Work Out Cute

If you are like me and can not stand working out and need a kick in the butt to start then look no further. Seriously what is wrong with those women who live and breathe for no carbs and crunches?!

Beach Vibe

I have been dreaming of the beach. I can't wait until Memorial Day weekend when we are going on our annual St. Pete Beach, Florida adventure.

I can already smell the salty air and feel the warm salty water on my skin.

The other thing that really makes me love the beach is that lips are bright pink, I love the pink melon colored lipglosses at the beach. I also love the different blue hues. Horizontal stripes are usually a no go for me because I am hippy (horizontal stripes make you look a bit wider); but at the beach stripes are all the rage. You can get away with stripes because they are so fun and nautical.

So due to my beachy mood here is a nautical style post.

Spring Break For Less

Spring Break is coming up. Even when you are out of school and a grown up spring break still holds a special place in our heart. Admit it, you still get excited for the words spring break.
